Details are being finalized but the activities will start on Friday afternoon, Sept 9th and continue through Saturday 6 pm; Sunday is the rain date. There is a great ramp and rig storage at the site. They say that 'change' is good...lets make it great!

Old Saybrook Powerboat Poker Run
July 23, 2011
What is a Poker Run?
A Poker Run is not a race. A Poker Run is an activity orientated, fun filled and safe event. It is a game of chance played with poker cards and an assembly of vessels of all pedigree and proportion. A Poker Run is fun, enjoyable boating and a time for powerboaters to reestablish old acquaintances and to make new friends.
Each participating boat navigates a charted course which includes designated checkpoints and sealed envelopes, with each envelope containing a single playing card. At the final checkpoint the envelopes are opened and the crew holding the best poker hand is declared the winner! |
What is a Race?
