The National Powerboat Association is introducing a Hi-Points system for the 2012 season. 50 points will be awarded to the Captain of Ship for every card stop made during the 2012 Powerboat Poker Run season. 50 points will also be awarded to every Captain who returns to the event Host Marina. The points will be tabulated and at the end of the season, at our Hi-Points Awards Banquet, date to be announced, the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Hi Points Awards will be presented to the Captains of Ship with the three highest scores. We will continue to issue playing cards at the finish line to make up for any missed checkpoints , excusing those Captains who, for whatever reason, cannot make all the card stops.  All participating boaters will compete with a five card hand. No points will be awarded for missed card stops.
